Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding GuardianFM’s market presence across Security, Cleaning, and Maintenance divisions. This is a client-facing role focused on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships, and positioning GuardianFM as the trusted partner for end-to-end facilities solutions.
You will work closely with internal teams to build tailored proposals, lead on negotiations, and secure contracts that support our long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Security, Cleaning, and Maintenance services
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with prospective and existing clients
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
Prepare proposals, capability decks, tender responses, and client presentations
Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements to close high-value contracts
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to support business goals
Contribute toward GuardianFM’s technology-driven vision by promoting digital workflow and reporting solutions
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in Business Development, Facilities Management, or related sectors
Strong background in Client Relationship Management and Sales Strategy
Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills
Ability to analyse market trends and create actionable business plans
Experience using CRM systems and modern business tools (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and driving consistent pipeline growth
