We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineering Apprentice to join our Manufacturing site in Perth, Scotland.\n\nThe apprenticeship is a 4-year programme with a mandatory start date in August 2026.\n\nEngineering plays a critical role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations across the site. This apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working towards a nationally recognised engineering qualification.\n\nThe role is primarily site-based, with one day per week spent at college developing theoretical engineering knowledge and practical skills. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will gain broad exposure to both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering disciplines while supporting the Engineering team with day-to-day maintenance and improvement activities.\n\nFrom the beginning of the programme, you will receive structured support, mentoring, and a personal development plan designed to help you build the skills and experience required for a successful engineering career. During the apprenticeship, you will develop knowledge and practical experience in:\n\nMechanical Engineering\nElectrical Engineering\nFacilities Engineering\nFault Finding on Manufacturing Equipment\nPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)\nContinuous Improvement Principles\nSafe Engineering Working Practices\nManufacturing Systems and Automation We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:\n\nA genuine interest in Engineering and Manufacturing\nStrong problem-solving skills and interest in fault finding\nGood communication and teamwork skills\nEnthusiasm and willingness to learn\nAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced environment\nPositive attitude and proactive approach to work\nBasic computer literacy\n\nEssential Criteria - \n\nFive National 5 qualifications (or equivalent) at Grades AâC, including Maths and English\nRight to live and work in Scotland\nAbility to attend both site and college throughout the apprenticeship\n\nDesirable - \n\nEngineering-related practical or academic experience\nInterest in automation, reliability, or manufacturing technology\n\nOur aim is to develop apprentices into highly capable and valued members of the Engineering team by investing in their long-term development and success.
