Location: Bracken Place, Chilworth, Southampton, SO16 3NG
Hours: 36–45 hours per week (Monday–Friday), including a 45-minute paid lunch break
Salary: £12.50–£14.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

About Us:
Nestled in two acres of woodland on the outskirts of Southampton, Bracken Place Day Nursery is a family-run setting offering care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing, outdoor-rich environment that supports children's curiosity and development, alongside a dedicated and friendly team.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting and leading high-quality practice within the Preschool room
* Delivering and championing the EYFS framework.
* Promoting inclusive, reflective practice and a child-centred approach.
* Growing your leadership capabilities while studying toward your Level 5 qualification.
* Contributing to team development and working closely with management to improve outcomes for children.
Entry Requirements:
* Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification is essential
* GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills
* Able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
* Previous experience as a Room Leader or Supervisor is beneficial, but not essential
* Experience in Preschool age range essential
* A passion for professional growth and leadership in early years education
* Experience in a Level 3 Early Years Educator role is essential to be considered for a senior position and Level 5 apprenticeship
