We are currently looking for a Electrical foot Mobile maintenance Engineer to join our Building Services team on-site working on a prestigious mobile contract in central London.
Skanska has longstanding relationships with some of the largest managing agents in the UK, delivering £9+ Million of work each year, across 19 million sq. ft of grade A office space, in London and the home counties.
The focus for all of these contracts is finding ways to save money, energy and carbon for building owners and their tenants.
With over 30 years of experience in this sector, our teams can deliver FM solutions for newly constructed buildings or support the continuous improvement of existing estates.
The assets we look after range from Grade I and II listed heritage buildings to new, purpose-built offices, like Amazon’s London office, serving both sole and multi-tenant occupiers.
You’ll
1. Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis
2. Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification
3. Carry out general duties which require multi skilled discipline, including but not limited to re-lamping luminaires, fault finding to electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, AHU’s along with cleaning of foul water systems, drains, inspections, and repair of all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing and heating systems
4. When required, conduct reactive and Extra Work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA legislation and Our Way of Working
5. Implement & comply with the procedures as detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policies, Statutory obligations and in accordance with the Skanska IFE (Injury Free Environment)
6. To ensure daily work sheets and maintenance & inspection records are completed and submitted on a timely basis
We're looking for:
7. Electrical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or ’A’ and’ B or equivalent, BMS experience and multi-skilling capability
8. Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar
9. Ability to demonstrate experience in a customer facing role
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
11. Demonstrable time management skills
12. Excellent communications skills with good verbal and written communications
