We are looking for three new colleagues to join our Family Time Team in the followingroles:
1x Full Time Family Time Supervisor (37 hours)
2x Part Time Family Time Supervisor (18.5 hours)
Please note: All roles require Saturday working on a rota basis.
What will your day look like?
Youll be responsible for making all practical arrangements to ensure sessions run safely and in the best interests of the child, which may include transporting children and working flexibly to meet service demands.
Youll provide child-focused supervision during Family Time sessions in line with court orders, working in partnership with parents and carers. Accurate and concise session recordings will be part of your daily routine, following established policies and procedures. Youll support families by role modelling and sharing practical skills to help parents meet their childrens needs.
Most importantly, youll play a key role in documenting and celebrating each childs life story with Social Work Colleagues, ensuring their experiences are recognised and remembered.
Who are we looking for?
Were looking for someone with a professional approach who values teamwork and brings excellent interpersonal skills to the role. Youll be a strong communicator, able to engage confidently with children and families, and build positive relationships that place the child at the heart of everything you do.
Promoting the safety and wellbeing of children will be central to your practice, supported by relevant experience working with families, particularly around safeguarding.
Youll be ready to develop your professional skills, and capable of planning and managing often stressful situations with resilience and care.
