What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be keeping production running — simple as that.
From fast-moving packaging lines to processing equipment, you’ll be:
* Fault finding on conveyors, checkweighers, slicers and automated machinery
* Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns
* Supporting upgrades and improvement projects
* Working to BRC and food safety standards
This isn’t just firefighting. They want engineers who can spot issues early and drive reliability.

The Shift
Double Days rotation:
* Week 1: 05:30 – 14:00
* Week 2: 13:30 – 22:00
Plus one mandatory Saturday every four weeks — paid at a premium rate, boosting your earnings comfortably above £48k.
No nights. No permanent weekends.

What They’re Looking For
* Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience in FMCG, food, or high-speed manufacturing
* Confident fault finding and ability to read electrical drawings
* Basic PLC fault finding (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.)
* Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet
