Your responsibilities will include: curriculum planning with ambitious aims for the whole group and individual children. planning, preparing, monitoring and evaluating sessions and ensuring their smooth running maintaining a welcoming and positive environment for children and staff implementation of the EYFS statutory framework, safeguarding legislation, health & safety and Ofsted requirements assisting to prepare the setting for Ofsted inspections, maintain policies and procedures and support reflective practice working with staff to identify training interests and needs being a key person with responsibility for working with a small group of key children and their families to support individual learning and development act as the Deputy Safeguarding Officer working in partnership with external professionals promoting equality, diversity, inclusion and ensure individual needs, SEND and additional support requirements are met. Qualifications, Experience and Personal Qualities: Minimum of relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent) Experience of working with children aged 2 to school age The ability to meet the challenges of working in early years with humour and a determination to support each child to reach their full potential Enjoy working as part of a small, professional and friendly team.
