We are seeking a technically skilled CNC Machinist who is ready to transition into a Technical Sales Engineer role. This position bridges engineering, manufacturing, and sales, leveraging hands-on machining experience to support customers, develop technical solutions, and drive business growth. The Technical Sales Engineer will work closely with customers and internal teams to evaluate part requirements, ensure manufacturability, develop accurate quotes, and provide expert technical guidance throughout the sales process. Key Responsibilities Technical Sales & Customer Support Serve as a technical expert during customer engagements, sales calls, and project reviews Review customer drawings, models, and specifications to assess manufacturability and cost drivers Recommend materials, processes, tolerances, and design improvements to meet performance and cost targets Support sales efforts by providing technical justification and solutions aligned with customer needs Quoting & Engineering Collaboration Develop or support accurate quoting and estimating for CNC-machined components Collaborate with engineering, programming, and production teams to confirm feasibility, lead times, and costs Translate customer requirements into clear internal documentation for production planning Assist in risk assessment for new jobs and complex components Account & Relationship Management Build strong technical relationships with c...
