Data Quality Officer

Type: Permanent

Grade: 3 - £26,409 - £32,654 (Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review)

Working hours: 36.5 hours per week

Work arrangement: Hybrid working including New Aston House and the Council House


Job Overview

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a Data Quality Officer to join the Data and Quality Team. This is a permanent role supporting the Head of Service and Quality and Standards Officer in coordinating and delivering the work of the Principal Social Worker, including the Quality Assurance agenda.


Main Responsibilities

1. Maintain over 400 Policies, Procedures, and Guidance documents for the Adults Directorate.
2. Monitor and record the number of supervisions and social care case file audits completed.
3. Analyze case file audits and supervision audits, ensuring the citizen’s voice is heard by collecting and collating feedback from citizens and maintaining content on the Practice Hub SharePoint site.
4. Contribute to cultural change by monitoring, developing, and improving data and quality performance.
5. Assist with setting standards, meeting deadlines, and understanding the value of information within Adult Social Care.
6. Deliver performance initiatives within set timescales.
7. Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences and work with high accuracy.

Note: This role is NOT heavily involved with work on Eclipse (the Directorate’s Care Records system) or providing data and guidance/support to social work teams in this respect.
