Quantity Surveyor Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and maintenance planned projects across a diverse commercial property portfolio across North Yorkshire. The role involves cost forecasting, contract management, and ensuring value for money across all stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage cost forecasting, budgeting, and value reconciliation
* Administer contracts and subcontracts, including change control and final accounts
* Support procurement and supply chain management
* Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with governance and legal standards
* Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
Essential Requirements:
* HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline
* CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong commercial understanding of civil engineering operations
* Excellent knowledge of NEC and other standard construction contracts
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Yorkshire
