Overview
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with SEMH/ASC experience to join our team at Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucester. The role involves supporting pupils 1:1, delivering an outstanding curriculum, motivating pupils, and achieving positive outcomes for our young people.
Responsibilities
* Work with pupils with a range of complex learning needs, primarily on a 1:1 basis, to support their transition into school and their academic and personal progress.
* Contribute to delivering an outstanding curriculum and creating a supportive learning environment.
* Be an ambassador for Brookthorpe Hall School, promoting creative and innovative approaches to support for pupils and families.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan, monitor, and review pupil progress and outcomes.

Qualifications
* Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) – essential

About The School
Brookthorpe Hall School is a new independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 7 to 16, catering for pupils with SEMH/ASD/Complex trauma. We are part of Options Autism and, as part of Outcomes First Group, are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. We provide ongoing development and training to ensure staff are well prepared for their jobs.

Additional Information
4DWW (4-Day Working Week) is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit. You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay; this may be adjusted by probation and role requirements.
