About Us

We are a growing, family-owned care organisation with a strong reputation for delivering person-centred, high-quality care. With 4 elderly care homes currently and plans to expand, we are ambitious about growth while staying true to our values.

This is a unique opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage of our journey. You'll play a central role in shaping the quality, culture and success of our elderly care division — supporting our homes today while helping us grow for the future.

The Role

As Regional Support Manager, you will:

* Support the Director of Elderly Care in delivering the organisation's strategic plan and integrating new acquisitions.
* Provide leadership and targeted support across multiple elderly care homes.
* Step in to provide Home Manager cover when required, ensuring safe, compliant operations.
* Mentor, coach and develop Managers, building confidence and capability.
* Lead audits, embed best practice and prepare homes for inspections.
* Champion innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our services.

This role is not just about maintaining standards — it's about raising them. You'll be key to driving us towards our ambition of Outstanding CQC ratings.

About You

We are looking for a leader who combines expertise with heart, someone with the skills to deliver excellence and the compassion to inspire trust. Someone who is:

* Experienced: A proven Registered Manager with a track record of achieving Good or Outstanding
* Quality-driven: Skilled in compliance, governance, safeguarding and embedding continuous improvement.
* Inspiring: Able to motivate, mentor, and take people with you, even through change.
* Calm and solutions-focused: You thrive under pressure, approaching challenges with composure.
* Compassionate and people-centred: Residents, families and staff trust you because you genuinely care.
* Innovative: Comfortable with digital tools and creative in finding ways to improve care and operations.
* Ambitious and growth-focused: Already a senior leader, you bring the drive to keep developing yourself and your teams — with the ambition to grow alongside the organisation as we expand.
* Flexible: Holds a full UK driving licence and happy to travel across Sussex, Hampshire, and Head Office (Brighton).

* Energy and Drive: You bring enthusiasm, stamina, and a strong work ethic — the kind of person who rolls up their sleeves and gets things done. You're prepared to put in the time and effort needed to deliver excellent results and support your team when it really matters.

Our Values

You will embody and promote SDR's core values:

* Kindness, Dignity & Respect: Treat everyone with kindness, dignity and respect to create a fulfilling and rewarding work environment.
* Calmness: Approach challenges and decisions with calm and composure to deliver effective solutions.
* Creativity: Encourage and embrace creativity to find innovative ways to enhance service delivery.
* Responsibility: Take ownership of actions, attitudes and outcomes while supporting career development and team growth.

What We Offer

* Competitive salary (£60,000 – £75,000)
* Mileage and car allowance
* Pension and benefits package including private medical
* 28 days AL, plus bank holidays
* Professional development and career growth
* The opportunity to shape the future of our growing organisation

Location

Our current homes are located in Petersfield, Shoreham-by-Sea, and Brighton, with our Head Office based in Brighton. The ideal candidate will be centrally located within Sussex or Hampshire, providing easy access to our existing homes and supporting our planned growth across these regions. The candidate will be prepared to travel to sites on a regular basis, with occasional days at our head office.
