Job Responsibilities
- Maintain reagent and stock levels and carry out general laboratory upkeep, cleaning and environmental monitoring.
- Undertake the examination of exhibits relating to suspected drugs following an agreed strategy set by a Forensic Scientist.
- Provide simple forensic reports based on testing to assist the courts.
Skills and Experience
- Background in chemistry and previous laboratory experience.
- Preferably transferable working forensic skills and understanding.
Working Hours
Work is Monday to Friday 8-4, with a degree of flexibility required for additional hours.
