What you’ll be doing:
* Plan and coordinate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to ensure the success of the in-store online service.
* Be a visible leader, engaging and coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers to provide a seamless and safe shopping experience for all customers.
* Collaborate with other managers to enhance the overall store shopping experience.
* Manage people effectively, including performance management, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay.
Our online teams typically work early mornings, with picking for deliveries usually from 04:00 to 08:00.
What makes a great online manager:
* Experience in line management within a fast-paced operational environment.
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to coach a team to deliver the same.
* Proven ability to meet KPIs and performance indicators.
* Experience managing disciplinary, performance, or employee relations issues.
* Ability to lead operations independently in the absence of senior management.
