We bring places to life through food, service and creativity and we’re looking for a Assistant Manager to join our team in London.As an Assistant Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. In return, you'll have the opportunity to progress your catering career with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.Location: SW3 4HSRate of Pay: £29,250.00 + troncWorking Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 6pm, Saturdays off, weekly rotationYour key responsibilities will include:Liaising between the team and manager to ensure we continually exceed expectationsMotivating the team to keep everyone on taskAssisting the manager with managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plansManaging the tills and processing paymentsSupporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their roleAssisting with paperwork when requiredRepresenting Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand imageOur ideal Assistant Cafe Manager will:Be passionate about exceptional customer serviceHave previous experience in a similar roleHave experience managing teamsHave excellent communication and organisational skillsBe an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskillWhat's in it for you?  Working with Company of Cooks has its perks!
