We are currently looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join out Team.
You will be expected to travel in the role and cover the South East - Canterbury, Crawley and South London.
Key Responsibilities:
* To further develop our health, safety, quality and compliance procedures and processes
* To implement and carry out on site Safety audits across South East.
* Provide feedback from site audits and follow up action plans.
* Assist with Toolbox Talks and Training
* Supporting Certification and associated 3rd party audits,
* To drive environmental improvements across the company.
* Assist in the writing of Risk assessments, Method statements and Construction Phase Plans
* To work with all sub-contractors and suppliers to make sure they meet our requirements for the business.
* Undertake supply chain audits and provide detailed feedback on areas of improvement
* Ensuring that all accidents, incidents and near miss are investigated, reported and recorded.
* Produce accurate reports in a timely manner as required.
* Arrange and carry out emergency evacuation drills, (fire drills).
* Monitor and correct non-compliance issues across the business.
* Maintain our ISO accreditation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experienced working in Construction, Building or Facilities Management industry.
* Practical knowledge of working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of current regulations.
* NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent
* Full driving license
