Overview
SPV General Manager – Location: North West. Salary: Up to £95,000 + Benefits. SPV experienced within Healthcare preferred. We are supporting a leading infrastructure investment and asset management organisation in their search for an experienced General Manager to oversee a portfolio of operational healthcare PFI projects in the North West.
The Role
This is a key leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance, governance, and commercial success of the Project Companies, ensuring strong relationships with NHS Trusts, investors, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the operational and commercial management of multiple healthcare PFI contracts.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with NHS Trusts, investors, lenders, and FM providers.
* Oversee performance monitoring, payment mechanisms, and lifecycle delivery.
* Manage contract variations and ensure alignment with financial models.
* Prepare and present reports to the Project Company Boards.
* Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, risk management, and statutory obligations.
* Drive continuous improvement and protect long-term asset value.
About You
* Strong experience in PFI / PPP project management, ideally within healthcare or social infrastructure.
* Excellent understanding of Project Agreements and associated commercial frameworks.
* Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to build positive working relationships across multiple organisations.
* Confident managing risk, financial performance, and contractual compliance.
