Milk Education are looking to appoint a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Walker. This long-term role is based within Key Stage 1, supporting pupils in the classroom across general learning activities, with additional focus on children who require SEN support.

What We’re Looking For
You do not need a formal TA qualification, but you must have:
* Recent experience (within the last 5 years) working with children (schools, youth work, childcare, coaching, mentoring, etc.)
* A warm, patient and supportive approach
* Confidence supporting young children aged 5–7
* Willingness to work with pupils who may have additional needs (e.g. speech & language delays, learning difficulties, SEMH needs)
* Strong communication skills and teamwork
* A positive attitude and a desire to learn
Responsibilities May Include:
* Providing general classroom support during lessons and activities
* Working 1:1 or with small groups to support learning and progress
* Supporting children with additional needs, following teacher/ SENCO guidance
* Helping with phonics, reading, writing, and basic maths tasks
* Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and participation
* Assisting with classroom routines, transitions and playtime supervision
* Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued
