The Hertsmere Public Health Nursing 0-5 Team (Health visiting) has an exciting opportunity for a part‑time Band 3 (22.5 hrs/week) Infant Feeding Support Worker. The role is part of the Breast‑Friendly Initiative and involves supporting breastfeeding and infant feeding activities.
Responsibilities
* Under the direction of the Public Health Nurse, deliver a planned intervention of information, advice and support for infant feeding.
* Work alongside Public Health Nurses and Infant‑Feeding Co‑ordinators to maintain BFI accreditation.
Qualifications
* Experience in supporting breastfeeding or infant feeding.
* Full, valid driving licence and regular access to a car for business purposes (unless a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
