Salary: £27,694 - £29,540 Location: Stores Road Depot Hours: 37 hours a week - Seasonal Hours Contract Type: Permanent We are currently seeking to recruit a Tractor Driver / Gardeners within our Grounds Maintenance section of Streetpride based from Stores Rd depot. The role provides a grounds maintenance service on all Derby City Council land, properties and contracts as determined by the service. The purpose of the role is to carry out tractor operations as required and undertake general and skilled horticultural / sports grounds / constructional work as defined by management. As a minimum, applicants must possess; 1- Full manual car driving licence, the applicant will be expected to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonne vehicles 2- Substantial Experience in occupational tractor driving and use of implements 3- Knowledge of Health & Safety & Equality Act 2010 We require our Tractor driver / gardeners to be reliable, have pride in their work, and be committed to working with colleagues to ensure a good standard of work. They must understand the need for exceptional customer satisfaction and be prepared to undertake training and work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations. Although it is not part of the essential criteria, CE Heavy goods driver qualification will need to be passed during the probation period. The work may involve early morning starts at locations throughout the City of Derby. Applicants will be required to complete a practical assessment and interview.
