An exciting opportunity to join the London office of Helix Records, a prominent international independent dance label, in the role of Marketing Manager. If you have a passion for music and think you would be suitable for the position, we would be happy to hear from you.

Our (new) offices are located in central London, as well as offices in New York / Los Angeles and spaces in Paris and Berlin. The role is collaborative across these territories and is therefore a great chance to get involved on a global level.


Key Duties:

* Product manage new releases from our roster of artists from start to finish, coordinating with internal departments and artist management to ensure timely delivery of assets.
* Set release dates and develop, plan, and implement forward thinking and innovative release rollout campaigns including impactful digital and social marketing.
* Coordinate activities around each release including press, promo, PR & TV and engage and manage relevant 3rd party promotional agencies.
* Work with creative dept on delivery of audio-visual assets, artwork, designs & photos
* Create & circulate marketing materials, one sheets, tools & information to relevant internal and external partners.
* Work in tandem with the creative + artist management teams to manage social media content, facilitating user engagement.
* Devise effective and innovative digital campaigns, integrating appropriate elements of digital activity into each campaign, across organic content, paid advertising, influencer campaigns, CRM & more.
* Plan & implement multi-platform advertising campaigns
* Maintain internal database of influencers, community pages and beyond, negotiate pricing and posting schedules.
* Engage with relevant DSP label, curator and programming teams
* Oversee content creation for the labels’ social media accounts and other online activities
* Monitor artist & brand engagement with fans/users to help plan marketing strategy
* Develop campaign budgets for individual artists and releases in line with agreed spends
* Work closely with A&R/Digital/Press/Promotion/Sales etc to deliver connected and cutting-edge strategies across the business
* Develop strong relationships with artists & artist management, including assistance with artist pitches
* Analyze release data and wider marketing metrics (socials, Shazams, charts) to help allocate resources to campaigns, identify priorities and inform wider strategy.
* Collaborate with colleagues in other territories to ensure coordination and execution of marketing plans and local market priorities
* Report to Director of Marketing to align on goals and strategies throughout the life of campaigns
* Contribute to overall strategy


Key Skills/Experience:

* 2+ years experience in similar role
* Clear understanding of UK landscape, notably across streaming and digital (organic & paid) and what strategies can be implemented to push campaigns further
* Deep understanding of the current state of dance music social media pages, accounts, and influencers across platforms including Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube Shorts.
* Motivated & ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence; adept at managing relationships and navigating diverse personalities with ease.
* Team player
* Attention to detail & excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Highly organized and efficient
* Ability to innovate and be solutions focused
* Experience of breaking new UK acts and international-selling acts and the versatility to work with acts of various sizes and budgets
* Experience in effectively managing budgets
* Deep fluency across social and DSP platforms with a sharp sense for how to spot and maximize opportunities.
* Ability to use & understand industry and consumer facing data analytics to inform decisions
* Knowledge of current music and industry trends
* Proficient across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Doc and Sheets
* Preferably proficient with design applications & software such as Adobe Suite, Capcut & Canva
