Job Description:

* My client in Whiteley is looking for a Tax Compliance Officer.
* Excellent salary and benefits (hybrid & bonus) to the successful candidate.

About Our Client

My client is a high-end financial services firm with offices across Europe and the US. The position is based in Whiteley.

Job Responsibilities:

* Work closely with client teams, including accountants and administrators, to ensure high-quality client service delivery.
* Undertake tax reporting services for a portfolio of investment structures (SPV, Holding Companies, ManCo, Funds) under supervision.
* Prepare tax working papers to facilitate tax reporting for various structures.
* Calculate tax liabilities and prepare tax returns with supporting documents for review.
* Complete tax reporting timely and update internal trackers.
* Perform analytical reviews and investigate tax variances.
* Communicate tax updates to relevant team members.
* Develop a strong working knowledge of tax, handling increasingly complex cases.
* Plan and prioritize workload effectively.
* Collaborate with other teams (Financial Reporting, Client Service) for seamless service.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Maintain files according to internal standards.
* Respond promptly and professionally to client and internal inquiries.
* Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

* Degree or qualification in tax, accounting, finance, business, or economics.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Attention to detail and high standards.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Understanding of technical accounting.
* Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
