Bio-Check is expanding its manufacturing capacity for diagnostic test kits
* including lateral flow devices
* and we’re looking for someone who enjoys a blend of hands‑on production work and organised planning.
In this hybrid role, you’ll build broad experience across our manufacturing processes while helping ensure our workflow runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the creation of short- and long-term production schedules based on customer demand and forecasts
* Helping allocate staff time and materials to meet daily and weekly output targets
* Monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks, and adjusting plans to keep production on track
* Getting involved in core manufacturing tasks, such as reagent formulation, dispensing, labelling, assembly, packing, documentation, inspection, and calibration
* Working closely with supply chain, logistics, QC, and finance teams to ensure plans align with wider business needs

Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
* Strong planning, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to support the preparation and maintenance of short‑ and long‑term production schedules
* Willingness to assist with organising staff time and material requirements
* Ability to monitor progress and raise issues or changes promptly
* Strong attention to detail and adherence to documented procedures
* Comfortable performing practical tasks including reagent formulation, dispensing, assembly, packing, labelling, and documentation (training provided)
* Effective teamwork and communication across multiple departments
* Computer literacy (Office 365); experience with Sage or QPulse is advantageous but training is available
* Commitment to clean, safe, and consistent working practices, including COSHH awareness
* A positive, adaptable mindset and a willingness to learn and grow as the company expands are essential.
