Essential Competencies
* Project manage contracts
* Hold relevant FISS/CSCS certificates
* CITB SMSTS
* Demonstrate estimating skills
* Good working knowledge of all fence types, Electrical Fencing Systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems
* Working knowledge of gate automation
* Knowledge of fabrication in relation to fences and gates
* Good working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
* Experienced in man‑management skills
* Good working knowledge of sub‑contracting procedures and practices
* Health & Safety qualification
Role & Responsibilities
* Project manage contracts
* Estimating and quoting
* Monthly report to the MD & Contracts Director for contract progression/updates
* Manage application for payments
* Customer contact (new & ongoing)
* Site set up and management
* Liaison with site staff
* Method statement preparation
* Risk assessment preparation
* Site Health & Safety
* Health & Safety site inspections
* Ensure quality control and test‑inspection documents are completed on time
* Promote material sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and save costs
* Ensure contractor operatives are competent, qualified and licensed and that plant and equipment are tested, maintained and certified as specified
* Ensure all necessary checks to guarantee installed services and equipment comply with the contract documentation
* Monitor, record and report all defective materials and sub‑standard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the specification
* Determine and assess the need for additional staff and resources
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks and devise contingency plans
* Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
