Role location: East Midlands (commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Grantham). Hybrid working is available. Site work can be in the UK and the EU and currently sits about 50/50. As the team expands, this should reduce to 60% office, 40% site.

These roles are based in Nottinghamshire and offer excellent opportunities for Control Engineers to join a skilled team providing technical development of warehouse automation solutions. We are looking for candidates who are keen to work as part of a team with genuine opportunities for progression.
Responsibilities
 * Develop automation projects from concept, completing functional design specifications, software design using Siemens equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
 * Completing installation & commissioning activities.
 * Approximately 50% office work and 50% site work, mainly UK & Ireland with occasional EU travel (the aim is to reduce this as the team expands).
The Person / Qualifications
 * Flexibility to complete commissioning phases.
 * Proven ability to develop PLC software from scratch alongside all relevant documentation.
 * Must have Siemens TIA Portal experience v18 as a minimum.
 * Good knowledge of electrical schematic drawings and electrical safety circuits essential.
 * Background of developing systems within intra-logistics, baggage handling or FMCG preferred.
