We're *relentless* in our commitment to being better every day.*THE ROLE*We're looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join the team at The White Lodge, Attleborough. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be part of a dynamic team that focuses on creating traditional pub food from fresh produce. You should be competent in all areas of the kitchen and be able to support the Head Chef in developing the team and delivering consistently great food. As such you must have had recent experience in a fresh food kitchen where dishes are prepared & cooked to order. Within 6-12 months you will have the opportunity to move to a more senior role and therefore this role offers great progression opportunities.Reporting to the Head Chef, and working with the Area Pub Manager your key roles will be to:* Assist in the day to day running of the kitchen & it's team, ensuring that every dish is big & bold in flavour and consistent in presentation* Coach & develop the team, both front & back of house, so they have the knowledge needed to complete their roles and progress in the future* Create exciting dishes to feature on specials menus using seasonal produce, and create menus for events and special occasions* Adhere to budget targets around purchasing, payroll and property* Maintain high levels of food hygiene & safety across the business,*THE VENUE*A traditional pub & dining room set in a tranquil Norfolk village, surrounded by countryside but plenty of local transport links. There's great parking and excellent outdoor spaces, and a plan to host events too.* Around 65 covers inside* Large beer garden with covered area* Food led site with a focus on events and occasions* Recent investment in the site to create an outdoor dining space*THE PERSON** At least 1 year in a similar chef role in a similar fresh food venue or recently qualified at level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery* Passionate about food, flavours, seasonality & provenance* A willingness to learn and be part of a small but expanding business that will undoubtedly experience growing pains* Eager to progress and take on a bigger role within 6-12 monthsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £14.00-£15.00 per hourBenefits:* Company events* Company pensionWork Location: In person
