The role will be 32-35 hours week, possibly over 4days. Salary on enquiry and dependent on experience. NHS pension scheme,private health care and 5 weeks holiday included.

We are a well-established, dynamic, and caringthree GP partner practice who work collaboratively with our Practice Managerand full-time Reception Manager with weekly meetings. We have awell-established clinical team consisting of five salaried GPs, one ANP and afull complement of nursing and HCA team. We are a training practice for GP STdoctors and we are a gold award training practice for medical students with thehighest feedback scores in the South Manchester area. We are very active withinour PCN and one of our partners has previously been a PCN clinical director.Our Chadsfield team are an innovative practice and have been involved inpiloting projects to improve efficiencies, as well as Oxford Universityresearch.
Job responsibilities
As part of a well-established and supportive team, you will be responsiblefor ensuring the smooth running of practice processes.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organisation,ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities.
Functional management of all clinical and administrativestaff, with direct line management of all staff including salaried GPs(non-clinical aspects only)
Managing the recruitment and retention of staff; develop,implement, and embed an effective succession plan.
Establishing, reviewing, and regularly updating jobdescriptions and person specifications ensuring all staff are legally andgainfully employed.
Lead and implement an effective staff induction andappraisal process.
Implementing effective systems for the resolution ofdisciplinary and grievance issues
Maintaining an effective overview of and ensuring compliancewith HR legislation
Ensuring all staff have the appropriate level of training toenable them to carry out their individual roles and responsibilitieseffectively.
Managing the financial elements of the organisation,including budgets, bank accounts, accounting systems, petty cash, etc. seekingto maximise income and reduce expenditure in conjunction with the partners.
Maintaining an effective liaison with the practiceaccountant.
Briefing partners on all financial matters, includingforecasting and cashflow.
Managing and processing partners drawings, Overtime, PAYEand pensions for practice staff
Ensuring the organisation has appropriate insurance cover.
Managing contracts for services i.e., cleaning, gardening,window cleaning etc. and manage procurement of such supplies and services.
Coordinating the reviewing and updating of all organisationpolicies and procedures, including developing, implementing, and embedding anefficient business continuity plan.
Leading change and continuous improvement initiatives;coordinating all projects within the organisation.
Supporting the team reach to QOF/LCS and IIF targets.
Adopting a strategic approach to the management of allpatient services matters
Developing, implementing, and embedding an effectivecommunication strategy (internal and external) whilst marketing the practiceappropriately.
Ensuring the organisation maintains compliance with its NHScontractual and CQC obligations.
Actively encouraging and promoting the use of patient onlineservices
Liaising at internal and external meetings as required,including but not limited to PCN and locality representation. Deputise for thepartners at such meetings when required.
Key liaison with Primary Care Network, the PCN Manager andany ARRS staff who provide supporting services at the practice.
Supporting the management of the Patient Participation Group
Supporting the management of all complaint
