Delivery Postie with Driving – Royal Mail. Location: Pendle Delivery Office, BB9 7DS. Job reference: 326251. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 35 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday – Sunday, between 8am-3pm or 1pm-8pm. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Sundays on a rota basis between 11am-5pm from the Pendle Delivery Office, BB9 7DS. We are looking for a reliable postperson who can deliver for the local community, come rain or shine. It’s a physical job that keeps you fit and involves delivering for customers with pride and care.
A Bit About You
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
* People-person who is friendly in the community
* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
* Strong sense of community and pride in what you do
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part time)
* Paid overtime with enhanced rate of x1.25 for more than 40 hours a week
