Severn Trent Services is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate Health and Safety Manager. This role involves leading the delivery of health and safety initiatives across our organization, providing expertise and technical advice, and influencing safety culture at all levels.
Key responsibilities include risk management, reviewing and updating RAMS, hosting safety forums, ensuring legislative compliance, supporting ISO certifications, incident investigation, advising on legislative changes, managing the safety team, and conducting training sessions.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in leading health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives in complex environments, strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of relevant legislation. Experience in utilities or similar industries, team leadership skills, incident investigation expertise, a full UK driving license, and the ability to obtain security clearance are also required.
