Negotiable Salary £29k-£35k DOE
Estimator required to join this established family run business within the production/sign making industry.
About the role
The role will involve the following duties and responsibilities
* Pricing jobs from one off items right through to large tenders
* Liaising with suppliers organising and costing materials for manufacturing projects
* Negotiating with suppliers to get the best price for materials
* Working closely with the project teams on tenders from preparation to submission
* Responsible for cost calculations to cost each project / job including materials, labour costs and equipment.
* Using project management software to prepare estimates and quotations.
* Working within a small team but also working on your own initiative.
Skills and experience required
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience
* Have previously worked as an Estimator ideally within construction and non food manufacturing sectors
* Have experience and be confident in dealing with writing and submitting tenders, and cost calculations
* Have excellent negotiation skills and be confident in dealing with suppliers.
* Have previously used project management software, Clarity or similar.
* Be able to work in a team but on your own initiative
* Be able to deal with customers at all levels.
