Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: We need you to lead projects from an architecture perspective, ensuring architecturally relevant decisions follow the appropriate governance, including peer review. We need strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. We need a proven track record of delivery in both waterfall and agile environments. We need practical experience using an architecture framework such as TOGAF or ArchiMate. We need you to be educated to degree level or equivalent in a STEM subject. It would be an advantage if you have experience using an architecture modelling tool such as BiZZdesign, Sparx, Lean IX, CACI MooD, or Orbus. It would be an advantage if you have exposure to process modelling, for example BPMN. It would be an advantage if you hold certification in an architecture framework such as TOGAF or ArchiMate. Responsibilities: We deliver solution architectures and designs through their full lifecycle. We create architectural designs that guide and contextualise solution development across products, services, projects, and systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information. We create and maintain architecture models and related reference data in our enterprise repository as part of our normal project work. We facilitate the evaluation and selection of solution options, software product standards and services, and the design of standard and custom software configurations. We produce solution architecture deliverables, including current and target state architecture, standard definitions, reference models, architecture designs, and patterns. We support product managers in product decisions to maintain, refresh, or retire services and systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information. We use our experience on projects to suggest, and in some cases implement, changes to our modelling environment to better support stakeholder needs, which may require some software engineering. We help ensure progress on key issues while keeping solutions aligned to organisational and industry standards and with other programs and projects.
