A leading name in global freight forwarding is looking for a Head of Project Logistics to join their team based near Heathrow. This is a key role for someone with strong experience managing complex, large-scale logistics projects across international markets.
The business is well-established with a strong global presence and a reputation for delivering specialist freight solutions, particularly in sectors like energy, construction, and industrial projects. You'll be stepping into a senior leadership position with full responsibility for the company's project logistics function, overseeing operations, developing client relationships, and driving team performance.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the project logistics team, setting direction and ensuring smooth delivery of major freight projects.
* Managing operations across air, sea, and road freight, including customs and compliance.
* Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Driving process improvements and supporting commercial growth.
* Collaborating with global teams and partners to deliver time-critical logistics services.
