Winder/Fitter - Full Time - Sutton in Ashfield, United Kingdom

Responsibilities
1. Dismantle, rewind, reassemble, and test single-phase, three-phase AC motors, small DC motors, and associated equipment including pumps and gearboxes.
2. Carry out incoming inspections for damage and electrical malfunctions according to set procedures.
3. Prepare and inspect all reusable parts for rewinding.
4. Operate specialised repair and testing equipment such as winding machines, test panels, surge testers, and core-loss testers.
5. Complete all job documentation, including photographs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications and Experience
* Recognised electrical engineering or electrical machine repair & rewinds apprenticeship (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in dismantling, rewinding, assembling, and testing AC/DC motors.
* Experience with a wide range of mechanical and electrical rotating equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to quality.
* A full UK driving licence is preferred.
