Lincluden Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for 35 hours, with a keen interest and experience in early years. Knowledge and understanding of learning through play, current documentation such as Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence – Early Level, My World Outdoors, and Funding Follows the Child are desirable. You will be supported to inspire children’s learning in our setting.
This is a temporary position until March 2026 and may be suitable for a Secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be obtained before applying on a secondment basis.
This post is part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or The Bridge, delivering courses as part of the BGE and/or senior phase curriculum to meet learners' needs.
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer is made.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence.
