Key Responsibilities
1. UI Development Leadership Lead the design and development of responsive accessible and high performing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
2. Technical Expertise Define frontend architecture enforce coding standards and ensure best practices in UI development
3. Collaboration Work closely with UX designers’ backend developers and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
4. Performance Optimization Ensure UI components are optimized for speed scalability and security
5. Mentorship Guide and mentor junior developers fostering a culture of technical excellence
6. Quality Assurance Conduct code reviews unit testing and ensure compliance with Barclays security and accessibility standards
Required Skill
7. Strong proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern frameworks such as React JS Angular
8. Experience in UI architecture design and component-based development
9. Familiarity with RESTful APIs microservices integration and cloud platforms AWS Azure
10. Knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG and responsive design principles
11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
12. Experience in Banking Financial Services domain
13. Exposure to Agile delivery environments
14. Familiarity with CICD pipelines and DevOps practice sets
