Hybrid role - 3 days per week in our Clapham Junction office

Salary: £30K - £35K

Marketing Function Background

Historically, the brand has been more ‘brand marketing’ focused activating mainly on TV and OOH (billboards). The brand has big D2C ambitions so is putting a lot of investment into creating a content engine. Our goal is to behave more like an entertainment business than an FMCG brand. To accelerate the growth of the business we are building out a high functioning marketing team split into brand marketing and growth marketing (marketing associated with online).


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is in the early stages of a marketing career and wants to work in a fast paced and ambitious marketing environment. You will get exposure to both more traditional forms of marketing - shaping brand partnerships and sampling activation and newer forms of marketing - content production and influencer / affiliate management. We are specifically looking for someone with a keen interest in social media and influencers. There will be a huge amount of opportunity to learn, and lots of hands-on experience working with media & PR agencies, influencers, videographers and events.

If successful, you will be joining a team who have experience working for the best FMCG businesses. These cover L’Oreal, Wild, Amazon, Diageo, Higgidy, Ikea, Coke and Beauty Corp to name a few. We are a true scale up so everyone in the team is both a strategist and is willing to get their hands dirty when needed.


Who You Are

* You’re happy to throw yourself into everything, sampling at events or doing cold reach outs to brands.
* Junior in FMCG marketing or events.
* Practical, organised and delivery-focused — you enjoy getting things over the line.
* Comfortable working independently with clear ownership.
* Confident in collaborating with agencies, influencers and external brands.
* Energised by working in a growing, fast-moving scale-up rather than a rigid corporate structure.
* Able to attend the Clapham Junction office 3 days a week


What You’ll Do

1. Brand partnerships: identify the brands that Rock Face should create partnerships with based on our customers interests and where they spend their time. Shape what those partnerships look like whether that be joint campaigns, co-sampling or social media competitions.
2. Sampling: identify where our customer spends their time and how we can best sample them. Drive the Rock Face van to the events and bring the energy.
3. Content production: support in the filming of content either for social media or Tik Tok lives.
4. Influencers / affiliates: support in reaching out to influencers / affiliates and provide direction in how you want them to film their content
5. Copy: brief our copywriters ensuring our communication is distinct and
