Job Description
The Email and PPC Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing a hyper-personalised communication strategy across our email and ad channels, using insights from CRM, intent and website performance data. Accountabilities include ensuring data accuracy, optimising audience segmentation, improving email deliverability, and increasing overall campaign engagement.
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Based at: This is a full-time hybrid role for an Email and PPC Marketing Executive located in Portsmouth and offers the ability to work from home several days a week.
Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across all platforms (e.g. CRM)
* Ownership of email deliverability and maintenance of contact data health
* Define and implement an effective audience segmentation strategy for email marketing
* Build and manage automated email lead nurture campaign journeys
* Manage ads account(s) and optimise targeting/spend, based on performance
Secondary Accountabilities:
* Collaborate with Sales to identify and deliver persona-targeted campaigns
* Brief the marketing collateral requirements to the Marketing Manager (e.g. blog, email and ad copy) and Senior Digital Designer (e.g. email templates, display ads)
* Weekly and monthly data insight reporting from analytics tools (e.g. GA4)
* Remain up-to-date on marketing email sender best practices
* Remain up-to-date on PPC marketing best practices
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a data-driven B2B marketing role
* Demonstratable experience in delivering successful targeted marketing campaigns
* Confident in managing and optimising PPC activity (Google, Meta and LinkedIn)
* Familiar with leveraging intent data for targeted marketing campaigns
* Strong analytical skills and strategic problem-solver
* Understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
* Proven capability to self-manage work and meet tight deadlines
