Overview

This role will be based in our modern state-of-the-art co-working facilities in Moorgate, London. The site provides amenities, support services and collaborative workspaces with convenient transport links.

We are a global biopharmaceutical leader committed to enhancing lives through a diverse portfolio of prescription medicines, oncology treatments, vaccines, and animal health products. Our dedication to delivering innovative solutions drives everything we do.

As a member of the Digital, Operations and Systems (DOS) team, you will support the marketing campaigns for all human health products in the UK pharmaceutical sector over a 12-month period. The DOS team works with UK and global stakeholders to optimise customer engagement and support patients through integrated digital channels, such as virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, as well as websites and emails. Past placement students have organised training on new technologies, led our digital accessibility transition, and managed externally facing virtual events.

Our organisation is united by a shared purpose: harnessing advanced science to save and improve lives worldwide. For over a century, we have been pioneers in research, developing medicines, vaccines, and innovative solutions for health challenges.

Requirements

* You must be seeking a 12-month (one year) student placement in either your third or penultimate year of undergraduate study, returning to your course after the placement.

* While ideally you will be studying Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification), all degree backgrounds are welcome.

* An understanding of digital marketing fundamentals—such as emails, websites, and social media—is expected.

Duties

* Support marketing teams in the execution of pharmaceutical campaigns by facilitating platform adoption and usage.

* Assist with the deployment of new capabilities, including delivering training and support to marketing and medical teams.

* Ensure compliance with UK regulations by conducting regular manual content checks.

* Develop in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation, digital accessibility, and emerging digital technologies.

* Contribute to the delivery of marketing projects, such as website updates, virtual events, and omnichannel campaigns.
