Your new role
This is a newly created, broad, all-round finance rolebining group reporting, financial control, and operational finance responsibilities.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for producing accurate group management accounts (UK and overseeing the US entities) while also overseeing and supporting core transactional processes, including purchase ledger and bank reconciliations. Other areas of responsibility include supporting budgeting and forecasting processes and providing financial modelling for strategic initiatives. You will coordinate reporting for the US entity, by overseeing the US external bookkeeping support and manage intepany transactions and reconciliations, supporting USpliance and tax processes with advisors.ernance and controls are a key area you will be responsible for, including maintaining strong internal controls and financial processes and ensuring VAT, corporation tax, and regulatorypliance (UK). Importantly, you will drive process improvements and finance system enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous experience in a biotech or life sciences business. You will have e xperience preparing group management accounts, supporting US operations or multi-entity reporting and befortable managing both strategic and transactional finance activities. Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities are required. This role requires someonefortable rolling up their sleeves in a scaling environment.
