Job Summary
PK Foods (Blackburn) Ltd is a trusted retail grocery and convenience store located on Audley Range, Blackburn. Established in 2011 and incorporated in 2022, we have served the local community for over 14 years with a 5,000 sq. ft supermarket offering fresh produce, meat, dairy, frozen foods, bakery goods, international and ethnic groceries, and household essentials. With strong customer loyalty and a diverse customer base, we are now expanding our marketing function to strengthen our community presence and brand identity.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and oversee advertising and marketing policies and strategies to increase customer engagement and sales growth.
* Supervise junior marketing staff and coordinate with external agencies when necessary
* Plan, direct, and coordinate digital and traditional marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal offers tailored to the grocery and retail market.
* Manage PK Foods' brand identity, online presence, and community outreach through social media, digital channels, and local advertising.
* Conduct research into customer needs, shopping behaviour, ethnic product demand, competitor activity, and emerging retail trends.
* Advise senior management on marketing strategy, customer insights, and promotional activities to improve market positioning.
* Manage marketing budgets, negotiate with media outlets and suppliers for promotions, and ensure cost-effective campaigns.
* Oversee the preparation of advertising materials such as flyers, in-store displays, and digital content.
Skills
* Minimum 1 years' experience in a marketing or advertising management role, ideally in retail, FMCG, or grocery sector.
* Strong understanding of consumer marketing, retail promotions, and ethnic/international product advertising.
* Proven ability to lead campaigns from concept to delivery, including digital and print channels.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
* Ability to work independently and provide strategic input at management level.
* Strong organisational skills to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
