Want to deliver high-quality affordable homes that make a real difference - and build a career you can be proud of?

Were excited to be recruiting a range of Development roles to join our award-winning Affordable Development Team and support the delivery of our ambitious development programme across the North West and South Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic time to join our client. Our development programme is wide-ranging and provides opportunity to grow your career whether youre relatively new to housing development or whether you already have many years of experience. We develop housing schemes for a range of affordable housing tenures, a mix of houses and apartments, and at varying degrees of complexity. There really is something for everyone as our development programme helps tackle the housing crisis while delivering great homes and long-term social value.

About Great Places

We own over 26,000 affordable homes across more than 30 local authority areas, supported by around 1,000 colleagues. Everything we do is guided by our vision of great homes, great communities, and great people, and by values that emphasise fairness, openness, partnership, creativity and putting customers first.

About the Affordable Development Team

Our Affordable Development Team is proud to be one of the leading development teams in the North West and South Yorkshire. We deliver a diverse, multi-tenure programme including Affordable Rent, Social Rent, Rent to Buy, Specialist housing, and Shared Ownership.

The team delivers some of the most ambitious and high-profile schemes in the region - from large-scale regeneration projects to pioneering housing solutions. Flagship developments include innovative schemes such as the UKs first purpose-built majority LGBTQ+ Extra Care housing, reflecting our commitment to inclusion, quality, and social impact.

Youll be joining a collaborative, supportive and fast-paced team that values shared learning, problem solving and delivering high-quality outcomes. Its a place where you can take real ownership of your work, make a visible difference, and grow your career while helping shape the future of affordable housing.

The opportunities

We have two project management opportunities within our Affordable Development Team roles available, one in our pre contract team and one in our post contract team. The roles offer the chance to work across different stages of the development lifecycle:

Post-contract Development - leading or supporting live schemes on site, managing the external project team, budgets, programmes, quality, and stakeholder relationships to deliver safe, high-quality homes on time and on budget.
