You’ll be expected to think, troubleshoot, prioritise, communicate and improve.If you take pride in high standards, enjoy variety, and want to be part of a business where reliable people make a real impact, we’d like to hear from you.What you’ll be doing:Acting as a first point of contact for users by phone, email, chat and remote supportDelivering 1st line and 2nd line IT support across desktops, users, networks, devices and office systemsTroubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently, with clear updates throughoutEscalating issues appropriately and working with internal colleagues and third-party providers where neededSupporting users with day-to-day IT and business application queriesAssisting with database and CRM system configurations and supportAssisting with hardware configuration, setup, sourcing and deploymentMonitoring alerts, incidents and support cases to ensure issues are followed throughProviding a high standard of service, aftercare and practical support to end usersWhat we’re looking for:We’re interested in people who are capable, proactive, organised and user-focused.You should have experience in a helpdesk, desktop support or IT support role, with a solid grounding in some or most of the following:1st line and 2nd line IT supportMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointActive Directory and Microsoft ExchangeRouters, Cat5 networks, VPNs and printersMobile Device Management platformsGeneral user support and business application supportTicketing systems and remote desktop toolsExperience in any of the following would be beneficial:VirtualisationHyper-VCitrixSQLSwitchingWAN environmentsHTML / PHPAIThe kind of person who succeeds here:Communicates clearly and professionally with users at all levelsCan make technical issues understandable and manageableStays composed under pressure and prioritises effectivelyTakes ownership rather than waiting to be chasedEnjoys solving problems properly, not just quicklyBrings a positive, helpful and dependable approach to the teamWhat we offer:Salary: £35,500 + bonus + on-call supplementsBonus scheme: Company-wide bonus schemeHybrid working: 2 fixed days working from home, or fully office-based if preferredHealthcare: Optional private healthcare schemeHoliday: 20 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 25 days, plus your birthday offPension: Company pension schemeParking: Free on-site parkingAbout Recruit Ventures:Established in 2011, Recruit Ventures is a leader in the UK investment sector for start-up recruitment businesses.
