Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Wire EDM Operator to join our client's night shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Wire EDM machines (Sodick and Charmilles) and a strong attention to detail in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for running precision wire cutting operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality output with minimal supervision. Mainly aerospace components and general engineering parts. To Nadcap and AS9100 rev D standards.

Hours
Open to Discussion - 40 hours on Nights can be over 8 hours over 5 Nights or 10 hours over 4 Nights
Responsibilities Of a Wire EDM Operator
* Set up operate Wire EDM machines on precision components.
* Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet exact tolerances using measuring tools.
* Maintain accurate records of production and quality checks.
* Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure uptime.
* Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Work independently during night shifts while meeting productivity goals.
Requirements Of a Wire EDM Operator
* 2+ years of experience in Wire EDM operation (preferred).
* Ideally Apprentice Trained
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Familiarity with G-codes a plus.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
* Strong time management and self-motivation for night shift work.
