Contract Control Systems Engineer - Remote (Occasional Travel)
Duration: 6 Month Initial (Likely to Extend)
Location: Remote (UK) with occasional on-site travel
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance (or already SC Cleared)
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers remote working with occasional travel to UK sites as required on a 2-year programme of work.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems
* Configure and program Siemens PLCs
* Develop and modify SCADA systems
* Support system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
* Produce technical documentation and ensure compliance with project standards
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
Skills & Experience Needed
* Strong experience in PLC design and programming
* Demonstrable expertise with Siemens automation platforms
* Hands-on experience with SCADA systems
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, control philosophies, and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Must be eligible for SC clearance or already SC Cleared
