Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit a PMO Lead (Director) within our Glasgow Project Controls Team. As PMO Lead, we are looking for you to possess proven infrastructure experience to lead major defence programmes in Scotland If you’re interested in working with one of the UK's leading consultancy providers across infrastructure, then we’re keen to discuss this exciting opportunity with you.
You'll be responsible for:
1. Leading a PMO, focusing on driving Controls and Performance business transformation efforts around effective delivery at pace to ensure client needs are realised.
2. Overseeing and managing all PMO capabilities, namely:Planning and SchedulingRisk ManagementCost ControlChange ManagementReporting ManagementBaseline Management
3. Building and sustaining PMO capability, including Resource Management, Controls and Performance and Risk and Governance.
4. Bringing together a clearly defined and integrated PMO, ensuring effective alignment between the defined operating model with customer requirements.
5. Ensuring the overall integration and deconfliction of Programme and Project works, addressing issues when they arise between delivery activities while determining priorities based on client objectives.
6. Continuous development of people, systems, tools, processes, and assurance that provide exemplar Governance and standards associated with the PMO functions across all Programmes and Projects.
7. Embedding and refining the defined processes, procedures, ways of working, systems and tools to ensure compliance with Portfolio strategy, best practice, consistency, and standardisation.
8. Efficient and effective management reporting across the Portfolio.
Qualifications

10. Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office
11. Proven experience within the infrastructure sector
12. Skilled in oral and written communication
13. Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications.
14. Proficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications, for example Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
15. Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
