Job Title: Senior HR Advisor (4-month FTC) - Hybrid

Salary: £45,000
Start Date: 1 December 2026 - End of March 2026
Hours: Monday - Friday, (9AM-5PM) - Hybrid, 2 days in the office
Search are currently partnering wth an established company in Telford who are looking for a Senior HR Advisor (or equivelant experience) to cover 4 months of maternity leave.
Job Purpose
As a Senior HR Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivery of a people‑centric HR Advisory service aligned to our strategy, employee value proposition, policies, and procedures to drive a positive employee experience. You will build and sustain credible effective working relationships internally and externally, acting as a trusted advisor to the business, steering and influencing stakeholders on all end‑to‑end people matters. Successful delivery of the strategy takes place across the wider HR Team, so you'll need to work collaboratively with the wider HR team to support HR projects and initiatives.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Trusted Coach & Confidant
* Deliver a customer‑focused, high‑quality and effective HR Advisory service from start to finish, ensuring behaviours align with the employee value proposition and risks to the business are minimised.
* Influence and coach managers on complex/sensitive employee relations, appeals, whistleblowing, and employment tribunal cases.
* Coach HR Advisors or take the lead on escalated cases.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships to support a seamless employee experience.
* Contribute to organisational design activities including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, restructures, redundancies, acquisitions, and TUPE initiatives.
* Develop and implement inclusive and scalable HR policies and procedures.
* Design and deliver people management training.
* Act as a trusted advisor with strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
People Champion
* Support performance conversations, promotions, reward and recognition, talent and succession planning.
* Review engagement survey results and implement action plans.
* Analyse people metrics and implement targeted improvements.
* Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Wellbeing initiatives.
* Travel between UK sites as required.
* Provide cover for the HR Advisory team when needed.

Person Specification
Formal Education & Certification
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards it) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
* Extensive HR generalist experience with a commercial lens.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Experience supporting organisational change programmes.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to question, influence, and advise effectively.
* Pragmatic approach in complex environments.
