Job Title: Sports Coach Location: Rotherham, S61 Daily Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time Are you an energetic and motivated individual with a passion for inspiring young people through sport and physical activity? GSL Education are looking to appoint a dedicated Sports Coach to work in a supportive school in the Rotherham, S61 area. As a Sports Coach, you will use your sporting knowledge and coaching skills to engage pupils, encourage healthy lifestyles, and support their personal growth, teamwork, and resilience. Responsibilities as a Sports Coach: Plan and deliver engaging sports and physical education sessions suitable for a range of abilities. Motivate students to participate in physical activities both in lessons and extracurricular clubs. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development through sport. Assist in managing behaviour to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance pupils’ learning experiences. Requirements for Sports Coach: Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE Assistant, or in a similar role. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. A recognised coaching qualification is desirable but not essential. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
