We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Coffee Shop Assistant at our busy Bakery & Coffee Shop located in Conquest Hospital, The Ridge.
As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of delicious coffee beverages and light snacks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons.
Key responsibilities:
* Greeting customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude
* Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages
* Operating coffee machines and other equipment in a safe manner
* Handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced cash register
* Keeping the café clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
