Our prestigious client is seeking a driven and motivated Internal Sales / Business Development Executive to join their expanding team in Reading. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
Location: Reading, office based
Salary - £30k - £35k (DOE) + commissionYou will play a key role in generating new business and developing existing accounts. You will be responsible for contacting new and existing customers via telephone and email to promote the company's equipment and services.
As the Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
Proactively contacting prospective clients to generate new business opportunities
Following up on incoming leads and enquiries
Promoting product benefits and special offers
Persuading customers to arrange demonstrations, trials, or meetings with Account Managers
Conducting market research on competitors, suppliers, and manufacturers
Preparing and sending personalised quotes and marketing materials
Gathering and documenting customer information accurately
Updating and maintaining records within Salesforce CRM
Taking orders and coordinating delivery and invoicing
Producing regular reports on sales activity and performanceThis is a target-driven role that rewards initiative, persistence, and results.
The successful Internal Sales Executive will have the following related skills / experience:
Previous experience in an internal sales or business development role
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
Excellent written English and numeracy skills
A polite, confident, and professional telephone manner
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
A positive, methodical, and hardworking approach
The ability to remain calm under pressure
