An established organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a series of strategic system and process improvement projects across its warehouse operations.
This role sits within the internal project team and will report directly to the IT Manager, working closely with the wider technology and delivery function.
The Role
You will focus on mapping and analysing warehouse processes, working closely with teams on-site to understand how systems are currently used and where inefficiencies exist.
The business operates a long-standing, highly customised ERP platform which is approaching end-of-life. Your role will be to document the current state, identify gaps, and define future requirements that will inform the next phase of system evolution.

Key Responsibilities
5. Lead workshops with operational and warehouse stakeholders
6. Document AS IS processes and produce clear process maps
7. Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and blockers within current systems
8. Define requirements for future system enhancements
9. Produce user stories, functional documentation, and backlog items
10. Support Agile ceremonies and work closely with development teams
11. Provide structured reporting on risks, dependencies, and progress
12. Create documentation where none currently exists
What We're Looking For
13. 5+ years' Business Analysis experience
14. Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain or logistics
15. Experience working with ERP systems (legacy environments desirable)
16. Confident running workshops and extracting knowledge from long-standing employees
17. Strong documentation skills, able to create clarity from ambiguity
18. Comfortable working in a hands-on SME environment
19. Technical appreciation of database-driven systems and integrations
20. Exposure to wireframing or working alongside UI/UX teams (desirable)
This role would suit someone who enjoys understanding how things really work on the ground and translating operational complexity into structured, usable requirements.
